Your privacy, in plain English
home-ed.ie is a small community resource, not a data business. Here's exactly what happens with any information you share.
When you add a listing
The submission form asks for two kinds of information:
- The listing details (the group or activity name, description, county and a public link). If it's approved, this appears in the public directory — that's the whole point of submitting it.
- Your name and email. These are never published. They're used only so we can check back with you if a detail needs clarifying before your listing goes live. Your name is optional.
Stopping spam
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly alternative to CAPTCHAs, to keep bots out. It checks that you're a real person without tracking you across the web or asking you to click traffic lights.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your details with anyone.
- We don't run advertising trackers or profile you.
- We don't email you unless it's about a listing you submitted.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, their servers process standard technical request data (such as your IP address) to serve the site securely.
Questions or removals
Want your listing changed or removed, or have a privacy question? Email hello@home-ed.ie and we'll sort it.
