Muckross House, Gardens & Traditional Farms
A grand Victorian mansion at the heart of Killarney National Park, with free gardens and lakeshore to roam any time. The big hit for kids is the Traditional Farms, three working 1920s farms with real animals, a blacksmith and craftspeople going about the old way of life. You can tour the house and its below-stairs kitchens too. The gardens are free, the house and farms are ticketed, and the farms are seasonal, so check before a winter visit.
