A hall full of real Victorian steam engines, and on steam-up Sundays you can watch them running, hissing and turning. There are model locomotives to pore over and a lovely walled garden with hidden garden rooms to explore. Children go free in 2026. It's seasonal and mostly weekends, and the steam-ups are on Sundays and bank holidays, so check the current dates and time your visit for a steam day. At Lodge Park, Straffan.
