The ivy-clad ruin of Sir Frederick Hamilton's 1630s plantation castle, with corner towers and bawn walls, toured with a local guide who brings the history to life. There's a small indoor exhibition with 17th-century artefacts, a castle model and replica costumes and furniture. It's a booking-only guided visit rather than a walk-in, so arrange ahead. Best for about 6 and up.
