A big Coillte forest park west of Limerick with two playgrounds, an arboretum and six waymarked woodland trails. The easy 1.1km lake trail is buggy-friendly and takes in the ruins of the old Georgian house. There are picnic spots and a campsite too, so it's an easy half-day outdoors. All ages, with the playgrounds a hit for the toddler-to-ten crowd.
