Foynes Flying Boat Museum

Foynes Flying Boat Museum

The story of when Foynes was the last stop for the great transatlantic flying boats in the 1930s and 40s. The showpiece is a full-size replica Boeing 314 you can walk right through, cockpit, sleeping berths and all. There are hands-on aviation and radio exhibits, and it's where Irish coffee was invented, so there's a nod to that too. Good for roughly 6 to 14.
