Ireland's only velorail: pedal a rail bike along a disused railway line through the Mayo countryside. The route is about 9km and takes around an hour and a quarter, with 2-, 4- and 5-seater bikes (the 5-seater suits families — two adults pedalling, three younger passengers). Great fun for all ages.
