A teen group in Co. Wicklow using photography to explore observation, storytelling and communication, run by San from YOFA.ie with a co-host looking after the practical side. It's for 13 to 17 year olds in a small group of 6 to 12, and the focus is on the story behind an image rather than technical perfection, so teens can use a phone or a camera, whatever they have. The first five sessions are creative photography tasks and getting out and about, and from there a shared theme may emerge that the group explores together as a documentary project through to May. Sessions run on Wednesdays from 11am to 2pm, alternating between Drumbawn near Newtownmountkennedy and the Shoreline café in Greystones. There are 19 sessions in all, and they're looking for teens who can commit to around 75% of them. It's €20 for a drop-in or €100 for the first five sessions, booked through the YOFA website.
